A chain of six cafés is moving its seasonal espresso to us. From a first call to a signed three-month pilot.
Chronology
- 2026-07-22: First call with Priya: about 40 kg a week across six cafés, a seasonal espresso. Decided: samples of a washed Ethiopian and a Brazil. Open: a price list with delivery to two addresses.
- 2026-08-19: The Ethiopian won the cupping, a touch darker for milk. Decided: 5% off from 30 kg, 8% from 50 kg; a two-week trial in two cafés.
- 2026-09-16: The trial went well. Decided: a three-month pilot for all six cafés, payment in 14 days, delivery on Tuesdays. Open: their standard contract with legal.
- 2026-10-09: The pilot is signed, first delivery on the 20th. Open: Priya asks us to train their baristas.
