Community Plugins
Community plugins extend Obsidian for your specific needs — add file format support, connect external services, or automate repetitive tasks.
The Obsidian community has built thousands of plugins. You can install ready-made ones or write your own.
Security
Plugins run third-party code on your machine. The Obsidian team reviews every plugin before it appears in the catalog, but complete safety cannot be guaranteed. Only install plugins you trust.
See the official security documentation for details.

You need to disable Restricted Mode first.

The plugin appears in the Installed plugins list.
Updating plugins
Plugins do not update automatically — this is intentional for security.
